In March 2020, we took a 5 day trip to Las Vegas. We stayed on the strip at the LINQ hotel & Casino. This short video is a walk-through of The Linq hotel and our room plus a quick tour of the Linq Promenade just outside of the hotel which features tons of restaurants and things to do. This is a short video you don't want to miss. We are Zack and Callie from Alberta, Canada, and this is our couples vlog from our trip to Las Vegas in early March (prior to the travel bans and shutdowns). Our room was the Deluxe room, King bed, High Roller view, Non-smoking room. This Deluxe King Room had a great view of the 550-foot tall High Roller wheel. The bed was comfortable and clean. Our room had a small safe with a digital lock as well as a mini fridge which was great for keeping our drinks and leftover food cold. Despite being told it may be open by the time we arrive, the pool was still closed for the season during our stay. We were given the opportunity to use the pool at a neighboring hotel of the same Harrah's group of hotels, but ultimately we decided against it. The billionaire’s Icahn Enterprises LP acquired the Taj Mahal through a bankruptcy court restructuring in early 2015 and shuttered the property in October after failing to reach agreements with striking workers over pay and benefits. Icahn already owns the Tropicana casino in Atlantic City through Tropicana Entertainment Inc. “After considerable analysis and deliberation we determined that we only wanted to own one operating casino property in Atlantic City,” he said in a statement Wednesday. The sale doesn’t include the nearby Trump Plaza casino, which also closed. Icahn intends to sell that as well. The Taj Mahal was once the flagship of Donald Trump’s casino empire, which broke up in a series of bankruptcies. President Trump is no longer associated with the properties. Icahn, 81, is worth an estimated $20.2 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Hard Rock is a casino and restaurant operator controlled by the Seminole Tribe of Florida.
